About the event
The Faith-Based Sickle Cell Initiative (FBSCI) is designed to bridge the gap between Spiritual Leadership, faith based orgainizations and the Sickle Cell community. Black and Brown people rely on their Spiritual leaders to  provide support, emotional guidance , and faith. The Sickle Cell community has lifted their voices to say they need their churches , mosques and temples to provide more spiritual  and community engagement. Â
The Sickle cell community voted on this initiave April 2022 as a priority. There is a diverse group of stakeholders inclusive of several different Faith organizations that are in the development of an International Faith based toolkit. This toolkit will include any and all viable resourcesÂ
This initiative is powered by the partners of the Sickle Cell Community Consortium.
