About the event
The Faith-Based Sickle Cell Initiative (FBSCI) is a program designed to bridge the gap between the faith community and individuals living with sickle cell disease to increase disease education and build healthy relationships. The FBSCI committee is a group of advocates who are caregivers, individuals living with sickle cell, and stakeholders who happen to represent various faith based organizations. Our goal is to disseminate educational material and resources with the unreached Sickle Cell Community at large. This survey is one mean by which we shall accomplish this goal. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to sharing our findings with the community at large.
This initiative is powered by the partners of the Sickle Cell Community Consortium.
Disclaimer: Please note, this initiative is not a religious organization. Meetings, printed materials, and other content are prepared with SCD education as its primary focus. We acknowledge that faith based organizations are a vital source of support and encouragement within many sickle cell communities and intend to increase accessibility of disease related education.
