Faith-Based Sickle Cell Initiative -PRIORITY INITIATIVE

After Church

The FBSCI is an educational initiative created for all faith communities and their health ministries bridging the gap between sickle cell and spirituality.  This initiative is a partnership between Discovering Moorer 2 Life and The Sickle Cell Consortium.  The partnership will produce a toolkit that is being developed by the sickle cell community with the guidance of stakeholders. The toolkit is designed to engage faith institutions in the health and wellness of the sickle cell community. This will advance community capital, address health disparities and increase the quality of life in those living with sickle cell disease. This project will be completed over 3 years, culminating in the final toolkit being disseminated in 2025. For more information andto get involved, contact us below.
